Inspiration and Support

Many people who are struggling with disordered eating (and frank eating disorders ) find themselves in the dark of night, sitting in front of their computer, perusing the web for inspiration. The literature indicates that along with eating disorders, these individuals often suffer with depression, anxiety, addictions and or have experienced some form of trauma be it emotional, physical or sexual.

This section has some inspirational notes, poems, and writings. Some are well know and provide a warm sense of reassurance, others are not so familiar but they strike a cord, and still others when some people read these, they feel they could have written the note or that someone has read their mind.

The reality is there are many more similarities to the experiences of individuals with troubled emotional issues that differences. That is not to negate the uniqueness and individuality of each person’s problems.

Feel free to come and read frequently. There will be attempt to keep it up to date with consistent additions on a regular basis. Enjoy, be supported, and reach out for help.
