Self Esteem

Each of us has a picture of ourselves; who we are, how we measure our worth, our self concept, our sense of competence and our sense of our ability to cope and succeed in life.

This view or picture is ‘my view’ , ‘my perspective’ or my subjective experience of myself.  This view of myself has to do with the way I approach life (or avoid life), the way I act and react and the way I shape my hopes and dreams of the future.

If my view of myself is based on positive interpretations of past experiences and I believe I am worthy and competent.  I usually have a pretty strong self of myself and who I am.
